when we rented the apt. the landlord told us $700 a month ..$175 a week . now he wants extra on the 5 week months . can he do that

Did you sign a lease for $700 a month or $175 per week. If you rent by the week it is $175 per week. However, you may have a claim for bait and switch if he said $700 per month to be paid at $175 per week and then had the lease say $700 per month.
