security deposit
my girl friend & me moved to another apt. our old land lord gave us the security deposit in my name & my girls name for our new place ,because he was sell his house. now that we split up. do i get half of the deposit when i left.

This is not really a landlord-tenant dispute. Assuming that the Landlord maintained and returned your security deposit in accordance with the law, it seems more like a tenant-tenant dispute between you and your ex-girlfriend.
Who paid the security deposit when you first moved in to the apartment, you or your ex-girlfriend, or both?
