Security deposit
I won in sm claims got triple damage. Landlord appealed said there is an error of law under chapter 185 section b that disqualified as a security deposit. What does tat mean

The landlord is essentially arguing that the lower court made an error in applying Massachusetts law. You need to make sure that you respond to his appeal in a timely fashion.

It means you should consider retaining an attorney to draft and file a timely response to the landlord's appeal, which is apparently claiming the court made an error in interpreting the Security Deposit Law.
