No smoking?
Hi. My landlord has said myself and my wife can't smoke in the apartment. Is this legal to ask of us? we live in a multi family house that has been turned into apartments.

Unless it was a condition in your lease prior to moving in to the apartment, he is not allowed to stop you from smoking in your own apartment. However, he can prohibit you from smoking in enclosed common areas, basement etc.
