Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts
Snow removal is not in my lease. I was recently told that if I do shovel, my landlord has to pay me. Is this correct?

Your landlord has to clear the means of egress to the dwelling unless the lease makes you resposible. This does not mean access for a car. If you remove snow without a prior agreement, the landlord does not have to pay you.
