my lease for my apartment is up this month and i dont want to resigh because i am working on a loan to get a house the loan is taking longer than expected and i had asked my apartment manager for a month extension and she stated no i can not give an extension due to the demand for 2 bedroom apartment. I have one infant and anouther minor living with me. I also always pay my rent on time. Is what she doing legal?

What she is doing is legal, unless you have a valid written lease. Of course, she can not evict you - only a court can evict you. If she seeks to evict you, you should hire an attorney immediately to protect your rights and negotiate the time that you need.
