Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts

Tenant-at-will intent to move

I am a tenant at will along with two other roommates in Massachusetts, they both pay their portion of the rent to me and I in turn give the landlord a check for the full amount each month. On March 21, one of the roommates has given me a Notice of Intent to Move stating that she would be out of the apartment on March 31. She has paid for the month of March. Is she required to give 30 days notice and if so, what M.G.L statute does this fall under?
