Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts

tenants debt and percentage allowed

My tenant owes my 1900 in back rent. What is the most interest I can legally charge on this amount for each month that he does not pay?

Re: tenants debt and percentage allowed

When is appears that your tenant will not be paying you rent, you really should begin the eviction process.

The more indebted your tenant becomes to you, the less likely he or she is to pay you. Even if you were to evict your tenant, you are unlikely to recover any of this back rent.

Speak to an experienced attorney today and begin the eviction process.
