Legal Question in Mediation in Massachusetts
Mediation Time Constraints
If a lawyer who is running a mediation states he will notify both parties of his decision in ten days, is that date binding?
I did a mediation vs. another lawyer, the lawyer acting as judge said this....now over a year later, I received his decision. Is this enforceable?

Re: Mediation Time Constraints
Mediation is not binding. Arbitration is more likely to be binding. Another possibility was if it was a master's hearing. It does not sound like mediation at all. If you would like I can take a look at the decision and discuss this more. Feel free to email or call me.
