Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Massachusetts

Emergency Room Did Not Test Me Completely

In July I contacted my primary care office, as I was bleeding extremely heavy out of my female area. The doctor office stated if I showed up there, they would send me directly the ER. So go to ER. So I went to the ER. I told the ER I was extensively bleeding between legs, indicated I was in excrusiating pain. I was I then was given morphine, given a pregnancy test, and sent home, with a ''heavy menstruation'' diagnosis. I was not concerned, as I then thought that since ER released me within 3 hours, and did not give me any prescriptions or anything, that I just had a bad monthly menstrual cycle. I then contacted my physician this past month due to the same issue but worse pain. I had to report to a walk-in medical center as my doctor was booked solid that day. I complied and had sonogram/histogram, and blood testing. Recently found out last week that I have at least 1-fibroid tumor and a small cyst in my left ovary. I have missed 20 hours of unpaid work, have two more doctors appts, with my primary and also a gyno, to see what the next steps are here. Shouldn't the 1st ER hospital I went to in July performed more than a pregnancy test on me? What if the fibroid tumors are cancerous, also I lost out 20work hours unpaid
