Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Massachusetts
R.N.vs Physician responsibility
My question is somewhat simple !! If a Physician instructs a Registered Nurse to give a medication that ultimately causes harm to a patient is the Nurse as legally liable as the Physician for any malpractice issues that may result ??

At the outset, I feel it is important to tell you that medical malpractice cases in Massachusetts are difficult to prevail upon.
With respect to your question, the answer is yes.
Potential medical malpractice liability runs from doctors down to EMT's.
