Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Massachusetts

Wrong Medical Diagnosis in Medical

I recently reapplied for life insurance but was denied stating that my medical records stated that I had a history of bilary chirisos (liver disease). When I received this letter I completely lost it as I was never aware of this. I did contact my doctors office and they told me that they would look into my file and get a call back, rec'd a call back and they apologized to me saying that I never had any biopsy to say that I had this. The were very sorry and not sure why the specialist would write that they said that they would remove it from my file and send me a letter to submit to my life insurance company. Is there any lthing that I can do about this? My family along with my self have suffered a great deal.

Re: Wrong Medical Diagnosis in Medical

You can bring a lawsuit against your doctor if you would like. You would need to document and prove the emotional distress that you claim to have suffered.
