What sould a solider who is on military leave and are on active duty do if he/she has been arrested in there home town while on leave. And ordered by the courts to appear in court on a date that he/she should be back with the unit they belong to. Or they may be considered AWOL if they are a no show back at he/she's base?

Either contact the legal assistance office of the JAGC office assigned to your command or retain a civilian attorney to negotiate a continuance to a date you can appear without being AWOL. Good Luck!
