Legal Question in Personal Injury in Massachusetts

I had a bad concussion in 1977 due to a telephone company cable hanging over the sidewalk that flipped me off my bicycle. At the time, my father acquired an atty for a lawsuit and pictures were taken of my injuries. I never heard if the lawsuit was filed or not and if my father received any proceeds. I was 16 at the time. Is there anywhere I can find out if this was filed and/or settled? He is deceased and I never asked him. I would like to know for personal reasons. Thank you.

Absolutely. Go to a knowlegeable and experienced attorney's office and tell him you are willing to pay him to find this out, and he will charge you for as much time as it takes to try to obtain the information that you want. Best luck. JBS
