i had a car accident and still had dealer plates on the car. can i get my money back for the car considering it was never registered in my name

Probably not. I am unaware of any law which would make the fact you were driving with dealer plates and got into an accident allow you to a refund of your money. I suspect if you were serious about this and wanted to hire an attorney to look into it further it is possible that something might be found which would be helpful, but maybe not. Best luck.
