car acedent

i was in a car accedent and i didnt have insurence but thought i did, they are saying it was my fault. can i face jail time or what is the worst that can happen to me?

You may be charged with operating a motor vehicle without insurance coverage, but depending on your record and the circumstances of the crash, I sincerely doubt you would go to jail.

However, the person you injured will most likely sue you to for compensation for any injuries and property damage which you caused as a result of your negligence.

You should absolutely speak with an attorney immediately and before signing anything or providing any statements to the other party or their insurance company.
