Legal Question in Personal Injury in Massachusetts
Is there anything to do about deliberate poisoning?
In 2003, July or August, my roommate-landlord poisoned me with habanero paste. I had recently come out of serious health conditions where I had been in and out of the hospital, and had to maintain a careful bland diet. My roommate knew this, but whenever we had a fight, he'd slip peppers into my food. This happened at least 5 times. Finally in the 2003 incident, he covered my lunch (inside the sandwich) with pure habanero paste without my knowledge. I missed 2 days of work and underwent excruciating pain, and regressed in my recovery. Several friends counselled me with this situation and remember it clearly.
He also left his lobby stairs slippery even after several warnings from me and another tenant, and that same summer I fell down the stairs--I still have a tender vertebrae and chronic back problems. There are records with the housing inspector of my landlord's negligence. This guy since has been doing harmful things to my friends and me, even recently stalking a buddy of mine who's stuck in a longterm care hospital (and his wife).
I want this guy to leave me alone, and if possible, to pay for the damage he's done. But I know it was a long time ago, so I don't know what I can do at this point.

If you plan on taking legal action you need to act swiftly. Most personal injury claims in Massachusetts have only a three (3) year window in which you can seek legal recourse for your injuries. Contact a personal injury attorney near you and set up a consultation.
