Who is Liable in Products Liability Case?

What caused the burn on your feet? Was it the stove?

The unanswered question for me is: "Did the stove cause the burn to your feet? and if so, were you just standing in front of the stove, like an ordinary user would be expected to stand, or were you standing on the stove?"
