Lien On My Settlement

My lawyer settled a car accident case with a Massachusetts Insurance company for $5,000.00 I am happy with this amnount of money. My question is that I owe child support in Florida. I live in Massachusetts and have for many years. The insurance company is insisting on making Florida Revenue Department a payee on the check, along with my lawyer and me. Is this OK?
