Negligient security at Worcester Centrum

Location: Worcester Centrum, Worcester, MA

Security at the Worcester Centrum for the concert was not present. People were packing the aisle next to my seat. I was being jostled by the crowd and people kept stepping on my foot. I went to the security people with repeated appeals and they kept saying that they had contacted other security folks, but could do nothing. On coming back to my seat, the woman behind started shoving against me. When I requested her to stop, she pushed me twice and started a fight. I got away from her and went to security and complained again and they were not too helpful. I had to go to three different people before anyone would come. They were unhelpful and did not take any action. Frustrated when I told them that I wanted to press charges against the woman, they told me that I should return to my seat! I was hurt on my back as a result of the woman pushing and shoving me. Is there any legal action that I can take against the Worcester Centrum for providing poor security/crowd control? Yes, it appears that if you can document that you suffered injuries on the night of the event from the Centrum's negligent security, you may woould be entitled to file a claim for compensation against their insurance carrier for meds, any lost wages and pain and suffering.
