Legal Question in Personal Injury in Massachusetts

repeated libel

I just found out a radio station repeated the libelous

remarks which were on television. I have just filed and don't know if it is too late to add this radio station in an amended complaint. I also don't know how to find out which radio station it was since I didn't hear it personally. Can anyone help?

Re: repeated libel

If you can't find the radio station, you can't hope to do anything about it, sorry. You're not likely to be able to amend your complaint to add a bunch of stations when you don't know who the culprit is. (There ARE class action type cases that have done that, e.g., asbestos manufacturers have been sued as a class, but I doubt you would be allowed to do that.)

Don't you have a lawyer already for this?

If the radio station was just reporting news of your suit and what caused it, they might be less culpable than if they were reporting as true what was said about you.

By the way, who are you and what TV station said .... what? Write privately and confidentially to [email protected] with details.
