Legal Question in Personal Injury in Massachusetts

After it's been snowing since this morning, I went outside and tried going down the outside stairs. At this time, they had not been shoveled or ice-melt on them. I slipped from the top step and slid all the way down causing injury to my shoulder. I can not lift my arm. I have not yet gone to the hospital, but will be going as of Oct. 29, 2011. I will update this question with actual injury information. But so far, might I have a case. The landlord has still yet have the stairs shoveled or ice-melt put on them. A neighbor had to do it AFTER I slipped.

If you end up having a significant injury it might be the kind of thing that you could hire an attorney to bring a claim for damages against the landlord. If your injury is serious enough, and your landlord has insurance, you might well have a fair amount of attorneys interested in taking your case. Best luck. Regards, JBS
