Send a Notice to the tenants of the building a notice to claim or remove or properly and store those items properly in their units or storage areas. Give them a timetable, say two weeks. Indicate that after two weeks any items not claimed or stored properly will be deemed abandonned property and removed.

Make sure that everyone has received the notice. Send it return certified return receipt and regular mail. If some one calls and asks for a little extra time, give it to them.

After two weeks, collect the items and either throw them out as unclaimed items.
