car abandoned

Sold car for $1 and passed title to new owner who said he would tow the car withing a couple of weeks. A year has passed and the car is still in my garage and he won't answer his phone. Can we get a duplicate title and donate it?

First check to see in whose name the car is registered. If it is still in yours, seek a duplicate and donate it. You may want to send him a certified letter with a return receipt regarding your intent with a time limit in which to respond.
