Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

client funds

I recently settled a partition case. The oposing sides lawyer had his money wired into his account. My attorney got a check from the commissioner and deposited it into his own personal account. He said it was to save time but I think it is wrong. He told me we would discuss his fee (which is half of my estate). I think he did this to just take the fee..no discussion. Any advice

While this may indeed be an issue, I am wondering if this is an expression of anger, or confusion. The bottom line on some level is if your attorney gives you the share that is yours.

I may be missing something, let me know. This is nearly midnight.
