Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts
Condo Association Management
Hello ~
I live in a 3-unit condo and myself and the other two owners handle all the administrative duties. Our association does not have a management company and the responsibilities have become burdensome for me especially.
I would like to propose the hiring of a management company, but I have no idea how I would go about finding one for hire? Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Re: Condo Association Management
There are many companies that do condo management. Depending upon where you are and how many they have in your area.
Some are better than others. It depends on what you think is the burden. If it is dealing with repairs and maintenance there are other options, such as making a deal with a handyman or repair company. If it is bookkeeping, you can hire a bookkeeper to handle the bills for a lot less than the cost of a management company. They usually charge a minimum fee per unit or per month, they charge you for all services and some are charged at a mark-up. You need to know in advance what you are getting into.
