decalaration of homestead form

I did purchase the homestead decalaration when i bought the townhouse. However, I did refinance again two years ago. Do i have to buy a new decalaration of homestead to cover the house again. Please respond me as soon as your very convenient time. thank you very much for your time and attention

Re: decalaration of homestead form

You do not buy a Homestead declaration, you simply file one with the appropriate Registry of Deeds. Under the normal course of things a re-fi will not necessitate a new Homestead declaration. However, there could be special circumstances in your case.
