my father inlaw has a house in lowell that the bank is forclosing on and a home in texas that he lives in what will happen when the bank forcloses will they try to take the home in texas does he need to file bankruptcy because of the forcloser

Does he wish to sell the Lowell house? Bankruptcy may afford him time to cure the Lowell foreclosue or complete a sale (with the approval of the Trustee in bankruptcy and the Court.)
