Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

Home auction postposal

I tried to attend a home auction on the 11th. I parked across the street to if it was happening. There were no signs or flags.

i could see. The only thing I saw was a cab & its driver on the prop. Well seems he was there to postpone the auction for the proffesional auctioner. Is that legal ? And what are the laws as far as auction flags do they need to be posted in the road so visible ? Thanks

It is absolutely legal to postpone a foreclosure. There is no requirement that there be flags or signs for the auction.
