Eight homes surround their own private pond owned jointly by the properties. Some home owners want to use herbicides in pond. What are the rights of a home owner to stop it. Thank you.

You need to review the terms of the management and rights of owners with respect to maintenance of the pond. You would also need to know if the herbicides being used are permitted and you can contact the local health and building inspector or the state environmental department and find out if the use of herbicides is permitted in your pond, it may not.
