i am a senior that has now included my children. on the deed. can istill file a homestead?

If you still have an interest in real property, you can declare a homestead. There is even a special category for folks 62 or over.
Forms are available at the Registry of Deeds where your deed is recorded.

AS long as you still have your name on the deed you can file a homestead. You can get the form from the Registry of deeds where your deed is filed and if you are over 62 there are special forms with additional protection for you.

Yes, you can still file a homestead declaration as long as you are occupying the premises as your primary residence.
