Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

My house is located on a corner between a one way street and a main street. I have a driveway out to main street and 2 driveways facing the one way street. Many times cars cut through my yard from the main street to make u turns or just to avoid driving around the block to enter the one way street. I have almost been hit in my own yard several times from cars entering from the main street. I have asked drivers on several occasions not to drive through my yard, saying specifically that it is private property. One driver yelled at me calling me territorial and said there is no reason why he can't cut through. I am afraid one day I'll be run down in my own yard. What is my recourse? I have used signs that my friendly neighbors have removed.

You can put up signs, which apparently does not work. You could put a chain that blocks accesss to cut through the driveway. It might things a bit more inconvenient for you, but it would probably stop the cutting through. Another alternative is to ask the town to put up a sign for you.
