House ownership

My girlfriend and I bought a house. Things are not working out. Both our names are on the paperwork. I want to sell the house now. She wants to sell it in 18 months. What are my options? Can I move out now before verbal fights esculate?

You should retain an attorney to review the title documents to the property and assess your respective interests in it and draft an agreement similar to that used to dissolve a partnership that will memorialize your respective interests in the property when it is sold and hopefully amicably settle any other matters that may need to be addressed.
