housing rights

So my family and visitors come out (were staying over for the weekend) at the apartment and they went out and the owner came out they cant be here because they don't have a lease and that its private property and accused us of not living here but we were residents and even had the key to get it and told us we didnt have a lease and kicked us out of the area but we went right back to our apartment were been staying and by the way we have a lease and there is only five of us 2 adults and 3 children (that come during the weekend only)

Assuming you have a lease and pay rent, the landlord had no right to ask you or your visitors to leave. If you rented the property through a real estate agent I would contact them immediately and ask what is going on.
