Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

My Husband gave me proxy to act as a home owner on his behalf; we have a condo and I am not on the deed: during a specific time while he was away on business.

During thr proxy time, I collected signatures on a petition to remove a board member.

My husband and I will both be present when the petition is presented to the board next week, and he is in favor of the petition.

The proxy had not been notarized. Is this OK?
