How to get important legal papers back

Hi, My sister died last year and in her

house she has all my mother's

important real estate papers , maps

and Agricultural Preservation papers.

My sister wanred to keep these

important papers at her house so

that they would get misplaced. She

had a room .My mother asked my

brother if he has them and he said

no. My mother asked marc ,my

sister husband for them and he said

there aren't any. He doesn't want to

give them to her. What is the legal

way to get these things.

Most of these papers can be obtained from the Registry of Deeds, the Town or the agency which your mother filed the Agricultural Preservation papers.
