Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts
Inspected... or was it?
I bought a house 7 months ago, it was inspected by the bank and by an inspector, both the realitor recomended. Both inspections said,3+ years life left on the roof. now the roof leaks. I had several roofers over they said the roof has expired it's life expectancey. I had another inspection by the best inspector I could find, if both inspectors before did not tell me the truth about the roof, what else did they hide? do I have any right claim against the previos inspectors, do I need a lawyer? Please Help massachusetts

Re: Inspected... or was it?
After 23 years of experience as a lawyer, it is obvious to me that you do need a real estate attorney to advise you (1) of your rights and (2) whether or not, as a practical matter, it is worth pursuing. This can only be done after reviewing your inspection reports and talking to you. Another avenue that might be explored is whether or not you havy any recourse against the Seller.
