Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

Judgment in 92, that I did not pay, now they want to sell my house.

I had a judgment against me that was filed in 1992, for and auto repo. I never paid the judgment and this is the first time I am hearing from this company, which is no longer in business. They sent me a letter

from the Sheriff's office and the letter states this.

You are hereby advised that I have seized upon your Real Estate and recorded same with the Registry of Deeds.

If you wish to adjust this matter befor I proceed with the advertising and sale of you property,

contact the attorney.

My question is for the amout of $5,867 can they sell my house?

It depends on the facts. However, it is very likely that they can sell your property. You should consult a lawyer or just pay the judgment.
