Can a landlord break a lease with a tenant to file bankruptcy in massachusetts

A landlord as part of a bankruptcy may be able to break a lease. It depends on the kind of lease and its terms. He cannot break the lease prior to filing bankruptcy except for cause.

It also depends on the kind of bankruptcy that is being filed. I suggest you contact an attorney if your landlord or the Bankruptcy Court has sent you a notice to terminate your bankruptcy.
