I had a lien on my house. I paid the debt off in full in Sept. 08. Here it's nov. and lien is still on the house. How long should I wait for lien to be removed.

You should demand a dishcarge of the lien on your property now. Send a formal demand letter to the lien holder or his or her attorney.
They should send you a satisfaction of judgment to record or the discharge of the lien.

You, or your attorney, should demand that the lienholder send you a satisfaction of judgment which you, or your attorney, can then record at the registry of deeds. Good Luck!
