Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

I live in a 5 unit condo association. 3 of the units are owned by one couple. They want to have 2 trustees. Is this legal? Shouldn't they only have one trustee to represent their interest?

It depends on how the Condo By-laws are written. Under the terms of many Condo Associations, they would only be entitled to one, if they own them all as tenants in common, joint tenants or tenants by the entirety. If they each own one and they own one together, they may be allowed to have two trustees. Again, it depends upon the ownership and the terms of the By-laws.
