What can I do when the town clears a section to my land by mistake, They where to clear a lot next to my property ? The Town Manager was told he DID NOT have our peermission to do this two days before they cleared the lot.Ihave the company name that was hired by the town,Town Manager Name,
Police Office that was called to stop work.

Probably you have a cause of action for trrespass and conversion (which is the taking of your property, for example, trees cleared from your lot) against the town manager,and the contractor. First, ask what are your damages? For example, possibly an arborist could place a value on any trees removed. Then, you would make a demand in writing upon the town and the contractor, and sue if they did not respond. You will need to decide whether the damages justifies the cost of litigation.
