You need to file a lawsuit and get a court order for a real estate attachment. If you are a contractor, you can get a "mechanic's lien".

Re: Property lien

Unless you have a written contract for work done on the real estate for which you can file a "Notice of Contract" to obtain a mechanic's lien, you must retain an toorney to file a lawsuit for money owed you and bring a motion to attach the real estate to secure such judgment as you can convince the court you have a reasonable likelihood of recovering. Good Luck!
