Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

Real Estate/lease option to buy

I entered into an agreement with a Florida company who bought my house with the promis to help me buy it back in a year. They declined my offer after the end of the year lease. They told me they had another company who would give me the same option.2 weeks ago they said the new buyer is going to move in and I need to get out by 04/28.Do I have any recourse with this company?Do I have any legal rights?I am a single mom, living here for 15 years with no place lined up to live in and unable to pack an entire house up in 2 weeks.

Re: Real Estate/lease option to buy

You are a victim of foreclosure rescue scheme. Contact an experienced real estate attorney in your local area immediately for assistance or you can contact my office for a referral to real estate attorney who handles real estate litigation who may able to assist you. In the interim, contact the Attorney General's Office to report this company.

Re: Real Estate/lease option to buy

Attorney Phillips is correct. This is a foreclosure rescue scheme. First, they have to evict you and you have a claim of constructive ownership based on their representations.

I would contact the Attorney General's office immediately. Next I would contact a real estate attorney like myself in your area to assist you.

Please feel free to contact me if you have more questions.
