i own the majority share of a home,can i deed my share away giving myself a life estate,and if so would this prevent other owner from forcing a sale or petitioning for partition ,any advice or options for me

In most cases, you can deed your home as you wish. There are some exceptions so you probably should consult a lawyer. In addition, if you attempt to create a life estate and don't do it properly, you may create a situation that can't be fixed. You should have a lawyer draft a deed to create a life estate to avoid problems.
