Depending upon the grounds for your eviction, you may have a defense. Please feel free to contact my office if you would like to discuss your case, and whether I can be of any assistance. 617-357-4898.

If the grounds for the eviction was not solely for nonpayment of rent , payment alone would not be a full defense, nor would payment be a defense if this is the second eviction notice within one year. You should retain an attorney to determine what, if any, defense you might have to it.

Good Luck!

There is a very short time period for you to act after you have been served with a summary process complaint. You should contact an attorney immediately to determine your rights.
