Technically, you would need the lenders permission to put your name on the deed. The Lender could technically call the loan if it found out your name was placed on the deed.
However, if you wait six months and your spouse asks for permission to add your name to the deed subject to the mortgage, they should permit it, assuming you are current with the mortgage payments.
