Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

I rent a condo in Weymouth, MA and in order to have a pet you need a note from your doctor and a written letter from me and the the board of trustees votes whether to approve your request. They keep referring to mass law 15b, I am not sure what that is, plus do you have any suggestions what I should put in my written letter. Thank You
