Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

What are my rights on MY property

When I first purchased my home 3 years ago my neighbor across the street asked if she could put 3 shrubs on my property so she did not have to look at my next door neighbor's yard. 3 shrubs turned into approx. 15. I have since had so much trouble with this neighbor that I had to issue a no tresspassing order against her. Now two years later she wants to come and remove all of these shrubs. Are they still considered hers? I have done all maintenance, mowing etc., since they were put in. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: What are my rights on MY property

The shrubs are yours because they are permanently affixed to your property. If your neighbor tries to retrieve them you should invoke the trespass notice. I hope that you sent a copy of the notice to the local police department so that if you need to call them they'll know what you're talking about.
