Saturday 9:30 am house showing

my landlord keeps making appts. to show the house i rent without asking if the time is ok with me

do i have to agree to this if it is inconvient to me.

No, you do not. The Landlord needs to give you reasonable notice of showing the property and if it is inconvenient for you needs to work around you.

On the other hand you need to be cooperative. If 9:30 am is too early but 10:30 is OK, just tell him you want 24 hours notice and no showings before 10:30 am.

If you have a written rental agreement or lease, read it to see what you may have agreed upon for his rights to show the property.

He has a right to show it at reasonable times.

If there are time that are particularly inconvenient to you give him notice in writing what they are and why it is inconvenient for you. But you must be reasonable too.

If you can not reach a reasonable accomodation consider retaining an attorney to determine whether it rises to the level of a violation of your right to quiet enjoyment.
